I use only naturally based, organically derived products that work better than anything on the market. To remove paint use ';Sol-U-Mel'; which contains SD Alcohol, Melaleuca (Tea Tree) Oil, and Tincture of Green soap USP. Tea Tree Oil is a natural solvent as well as being a healing agent killing staph, strep, e.coli, virus, fungus, bacteria and other nasties. Because I mention it is an oil, you may think of ';grease'; in relation to oil, this is not greasy, in combination mentioned in the Sol-U-Mel it is a very effective solvent that can even remove nail polish naturally. As for whitening and keeping colors safe, my clothes have never looked better and had less lint since I began using MelaBrite color safe brightener made especially for what you describe.
