I think most beauty companies would put a 1 year shelf life on it, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's bad after 12 months. If it still smells fine, hasn't changed texture or colour, go ahead and use it!
Depends some lip gloss dose not expire and some do here's a way. smell the lip gloss if it smells bad throw it out cause that means it expired.
Usually about a year.
