Any tips on how to make lip gloss palettes a little easier to apply?

Just got this huge kit as a birthday present. It is heaven in the form of a box set really. But the lip glosses that come with it are really hard to get out and don't look like the color on, so any tips?Any tips on how to make lip gloss palettes a little easier to apply?
use a lip brush and once you apply to your lips, add a light coat of clear lipgloss onto the color from the palette once you've applied it to your lips.
