How do you get lip gloss stain off a microfiber couch?

My daughter took her lip gloss (the kind with the roller ball) and drew all over my couch. I tried using just water and it still shows up. It is an oil based lip gloss. The glitter came off but still left an oil trail. My couch is microfiber. Any ideas?

Pour some baby powder on the oily part. And scrub it off. IT should come off, and baby powder usually takes things off that are oily, because the powdery substance dries up the oily substance. =]


OR, you could call the sofa company and ask what can you use to take an oily stain off, and if it' is okaay to use powder on it.How do you get lip gloss stain off a microfiber couch?
I know that if you spill something on it or something like that you can wet it and put baking soda on it. I'm not sure if it would work with That though. You can try it. Just get the oil trail wet and pour a little baking soda on it. Let it dry then scrub it up. It worked on mine when my son spilt his coke.

a good hint to remove lipstick on clothing is hairspray. Spray a little on the area and gently rub it out. Sounds like a big job if it's on a couch..good luck
