I have a Subaru Impreza 00 GX. What would be the rough cost to get it sprayed gloss black? Im in NSW if that helps.

my friend hit a dog(o.n PuRpOsE) and his insurance payed most of the cost to get his car painted. he wanted black but it wouldnt pay so he got candy apple red..i think he ended up paying $350he has a mustang

In order to do it right - the car needs to be lightly snaded, door handles and trim removed, everything masked off and prepped for painting - a good paint job with 2 coats and a clear coat and then wet sanded and buffed to a gloss will cost around $3000.





Do not skimp on it because it will look like it was painted by a retard with a turkey feather !!!!





Or get a Maaco paint job - one coat of paint - that will look like **** in a year for $1000
i cant answer for the cost, but i just bought a new car, black. and it shows every little pc of dirt . i wish it was some other color. and i like black, but it always seems to be dirty. worst cokor for that...just a thought.
Expect to pay anywhere from $600 up to over a thousand...depends on where you go and how good the job is...and also if you know somebody that does that kind of work...good luck





The cheapest Ive ever heard of a paint job was $450 but that was years ago...
if it started out black 600 up if its another color 1200 up..changing color means door jams under hood,,,trunk and so on.
depending on quality of paint used .single stage no clear coat is probably the cheapest route .Base coat clear-coat is probably more durable and it buffs up really high gloss .You are changing colors you need to spray the jambs .Depending on body work a small car would run $1500.00 to $2500.00
a good job done right will cost about 3,000 if change color to do door jams add about 600.00 to that
