The answer is pretty simple, semi gloss is gloss paint... no difference... if you like the look of a flat wall paint and not really a fan of a shiny look (semi-gloss) then I suggest a low-sheen semi-gloss paint... it looks a little like a flat paint but cleans like a semi-gloss... ask your paint dealer for a low sheen semi gloss and he'll be glad to show you some samples !!!
